Choose your complete wedding look in one place, add them to one cart and pay once. We do all the rest for you.
We have only listed makers we trust to provide you with a beautiful product. They pay care and attention to creating the perfect item. You will receive your product as beautifully packaged with love as you would in the shop.
Before you choose your dress we advise you request fabric swatches so you can feel the quality.
Fit and style
Within each dress we describe its style and fit. Take note of the fit and consider how it would suit your body shape. Complete your measurements when buying. Dresses are not made to measure but knowing your measurements allows the maker to help you select the correct size.
Contact the maker using the contact button in the item listing if you have any questions.
Finding the style for you
Think about your existing wardrobe and the items of clothing you love. Why do you love them? What body parts do they accentuate that you love?
Do you want a long or short dress?
Do you love hip/bum/tum hugging skirts? If this is a no then look at a-lines and circle skirts.
We find that getting the right neck line is super important. Get the fit right on the shoulders and bust first, then choose the skirt fit.
Some general notes:
Often a dropped waist isn’t flattering on an hour glass shape.
If you have a fuller bust a dress that fits well around the bust and shoulders is more slimming.
If you love bold prints in your everyday clothing then maybe a bold lace is for you?
A circle skirt is beautifully full at the bottom but less fabric at the top, it drapes over the waist and hips without clinging.
Budgeting for alterations
Whether you buy online or in store you will likely need alterations, at the least a hem line. Dresses made to a standard size or to your measurements may need taking in or releasing slightly depending on how your weight changes from the original order to receipt. Dresses cannot go down or up more than one dress size so do take care when taking your measurements. The cost of alterations will depend on your area. Speak with friends and family to find a respected local seamstress. Here is a list of dress makers. (These have not been vetted by us and we take no responsibility for them and their work.)
